As the Titanic tilted into the icy seas and the orchestra played “Nearer thy God to Thee”–not getting to a life boat simply because everyone else was doing so turned out to nor be a very efficacious decision. Reality, ultimately is what reality is no matter how intense the fog of propaganda and brainwashed delusion. Reality is about to bite most of mankind in the proverbial ass. The deck is already tilting and one had better keep a good eye on the fastest path to a lifeboat, even though most of them may have irreparable gashes in their hulls.

Over the past couple of years, we have all watched as global financial bubbles have gotten larger and larger. Despite predictions that they could burst at any time, they have just continued to expand. Though I have been miles off on the timing of the next, far more disruptive, global economic and financial downturn, I have enclosed two pieces I wrote in prior years. The first, pertinent to the topic above, as I was warning throughout 2007 of the coming market meltdown and the later, produced in 2010 that I just feel is pertinent now, with hindsight perhaps now more than then.
