There will be violence. How the powers that rule react, how the media presents it as it unfolds will be of far greater significance than the flames of Ferguson or other cities reacting to the increasingly obvious acquittal. The divisions of race are being intentionally inflamed as are a variety of social tensions. These trends will be intensifying. With the expected immigration “reforms” soon to come following the upcoming elections the issues of racial, ethnic and social violence will grow measurably.
There is also a wild card that is outside of the ability of political or economic elites to control and that is a very likely migration out of California of Latino’s, illegals or citizens, seeking work, shelter and survival due to the drought. No farming, no work. No work, no reason to remain and more stress on the Californian and national welfare system. All occurring right when the American and global economies are about to resume their inevitable slide into the abyss.
In a rare move, The Washington Post stated with definitive language what likely happened on August 9th in Ferguson, Missouri, which led to the shooting death of Michael Brown.
Using the recently released independent autopsy results, the Post stated that the investigation has strengthened and corroborated Office Darren Wilson’s account of the event, casting Brown as “an aggressor.”
FERGUSON, Mo. – Missouri police have been brushing up on constitutional rights and stocking up on riot gear to prepare for a grand jury’s decision about whether to charge a white police officer who fatally shot a black 18-year-old in suburban St. Louis.
The preparations are aimed at avoiding a renewed outbreak of violence during the potentially large demonstrations that could follow an announcement of whether Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson will face a criminal trial for the Aug. 9 death of Michael Brown.
Police and protesters have repeatedly clashed since the shooting, which prompted a national conversation about race and police tactics. Images of officers in riot gear and armored vehicles confronting protesters have drawn widespread criticism.
Many protesters want Darren Wilson indicted for murder. Grand jury proceedings are secret, but legal analysts say recently leaked information about Wilson’s testimony to investigators may be an attempt to prepare the public for the possibility that he might not be charged.
Planned, intended chaos and violence. Can you hear the jackboots clicking down your hallways yet?
