“Hillary’s going to win,” said Buffett, saying he’d be willing to “bet money on it.”
Democracy extends the sphere of individual freedom, socialism restricts it. Democracy attaches all possible value to each man; socialism makes each man a mere agent, a mere number. Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.” “
Society will develop a new kind of servitude which covers the surface of society with a network of complicated rules, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate. It does not tyrannise but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd.
Tyranny in democratic republics does not proceed in the same way, however. It ignores the body and goes straight for the soul. The master no longer says: You will think as I do or die. He says: You are free not to think as I do. You may keep your life, your property, and everything else. But from this day forth you shall be as a stranger among us. You will retain your civic privileges, but they will be of no use to you. For if you seek the votes of your fellow citizens, they will withhold them, and if you seek only their esteem, they will feign to refuse even that. You will remain among men, but you will forfeit your rights to humanity. When you approach your fellow creatures, they will shun you as one who is impure. And even those who believe in your innocence will abandon you, lest they, too, be shunned in turn. Go in peace, I will not take your life, but the life I leave you with is worse than death.”
― Alexis de Tocqueville
One would have to be a very recent visitor from Mars not to know that Hillary is not only running, but that everything, everything that the Democratic propaganda machine can do to make her the next President of the United States is not only extraordinarily well oiled and pumping it is doing so now at an accelerating rate. Hillary has been running for 2016 before she “lost” in the surprising, unexpected, out of nowhere, totally astounding miracles of miracles, election win of America’s first black President.
Not only that but Barrack Hussein Obama had other attributes as well; a foreign born Kenyan father, a mysterious and virtually undocumented past whose trail only became defined as a community organizer turned state senator, and a formal Islamic education as a “one-time” practicing Muslim. Besides his socialist upbringing as well as rather nefarious friendships often denied, there could not have been a more groomed candidate with no substance, but a silver tongue and a narcissism to equal the Clinton’s combined, to pave the way for the real Clinton to be crowned President in 2016. By 2016 this nation and the world will be so deep in crisis that America will be crying out for a forceful, decisive leader.
The powers that be have known for some time that by 2016 the socioeconomic, geopolitical and health environment, fanned by a massive, well coordinated propaganda campaign accompanied by a dissent suppressing broad destruction of American civil liberties will drive a surge in support for a President with powers far surpassing any before. Regardless of the clear, absolute conflict with the American Constitution and every safeguard put in place by this nation’s founders to prevent the final chapter in this former Republics democratic experiment, Hillary will place the final nail in the coffin of freedom, rights and American’s liberty. There is absolutely zero chance, none, that Leon Panetta wrote his book and said the things he said on Fox with Bill O’Reilly without tacit approval, not only of the Clinton’s, for whom he is subservient, but of the cabal of covert forces setting America up for its final act.
From the canyons of Wall Street, the corporate boardrooms of the military, industrial and surveillance/police complexes to London’s Downing Street the fix has been in for far longer than most can imagine. I am not so sure that the honesty of a Mormon such as Mitt Romney is not a modest enough risk to have the “establishment” (what ever happened to that word, it says too much to truth?) put up another Bush to run, just in case something unexpected happens on the pathway to the glories of the Clinton tyranny.
The machinations of power are so allusive to most of us that we impute our own sense of goodness, honesty and faith into it that we are like the loving family member of a Liberian child with a fever, never thinking for a minute that from our warm embrace we are likely being infected with a deadly virus. Power and unimaginable wealth corrupt. Without the restraints of our Constitution and any of the moral and ethical bindings of religious faith, the powerful in America are about to destroy every last remaining vestige of what the people of this nation once felt strongly enough to die for.
