I am no fan of the State of Israel-any government in a state of constant war becomes infinitely corrupt–deeply and likely irrevocably, as with the United States. It has nothing to do with the original state or founding ideals, it has to do with the infinite corruption of coercive power over others lives.
War destroys the moral core of any civilization, it destroys all empathy. I am no fan of Hamas either, radically less so, in fact. I condemn both their houses. But anyone who, like those here in America who give their blind loyalty to their country when they know it is in the wrong, when it is committing atrocities or believe the absurdity that this nation is even above moral judgment, and now think that the State of Israel cannot and does not commit heinous crimes against the innocent, have lost their rationality and objectivity in the sea of raw emotion and the willful blindness of ideology and religion. Right and wrong are not relative terms nor are they situationally subjective.
