The Death Of Greece- and Eventually Coming to a Theater Near You–the Death of the Euro and Then the EU Itself.

Nothing is rarely ever as it seems–never when it concerns governments. Destroy the village to save the village, destroy Greece in order to save it, perhaps one day, but more to try and save the EMU and the European Union itself. An act of desperation in desperate times. There is no exit from the global crisis in transnational globalized crony capitalist finance fascism–none except a massive cathartic puking, a revulsion to all that is poisoning civilization and the planet. This will be a process of severe pain for almost all, including the very elites that think they are immune, the very elites that have been guiding the capitalist ship for the past 100 years and that have been the powers behind every chair of every senior elected politician, and under the tables with bobbing heads of every senior government bureaucrat for almost as long.

Greece is the first to go down. No doubt major self-inflicted wounds, but besides the fact that it was hubris on their part and hubris on the part of the framers of the European Monetary Union and of the whole non-democratic, bureaucratic architecture of the EU. The later being by far and away the greater of the ego’s. Let us not forget the deft hand of the wizard blood sucking squids at Goldman Sachs. But the god’s can not be fooled for ever and the hammer of Thor is about to smash not only Greece, but all who have tempted fate by creating such a false and monstrous god in Brussels. Next, the angry gods of earth, wind and fire will descend on the rest of us.

The global power elites will not do down without a fight and when it comes to possible scarcities due to economic and civil disruptions and chaos, they will fight to keep more than their share. It is a quaint lie, one that shined a false light on the rich and powerful for generations and of course, men, perhaps in order to keep the plebeians from panicking to quickly. But for a few exceptions–the myth that the sinking ships captain and the caring, empathetic wealthy first class passengers on these listing ships, yelled out–“women and children first” is just not truth.  Furthermore, no matter how glamorized the stories and the Hollywood propaganda machinery try to make their movies, on the Titanic they provided lifeboats for those deemed of superior social status first and last and not the lessor rats on the ship.

winter_is_coming_by_figure_of_l-d541201The global economy is sinking, this was as inevitable as the sun rising in the east. The civil, sectarian and religious animosities, even those that have not burst again on the scene, but have been simmering all along, that have plagued humanity for eons will erupt with a vengeance. Human beings have not evolved as much as we would like to think, evidence of which is found everyday with the atrocities performed by ISIS. And God knows, our civilization and culture has not either, for which the evidence can simply be found in the degradation of American culture to the lowest common denominator of moral and ethical deviancy.

The global elites government response will be to bring down a police state tyranny never before seen in this world for its effectiveness and total control–at least for a while. Then the armies of the powerful will turn on them, as they have done throughout the ages. And the people will revolt, unfortunately, very likely with extreme violence and bloody retribution. A revolution is coming, hopefully, and there is still a chance, small as I think it may be, that the revolt will happen sooner rather than later after a period of despotism. If it does, if the people can wrest back control before it is too late before the longer dark days, then who knows how bright the future may be.

Indeed, “Winter is Coming.”

Yes, Varoufakis was right, and will be right in the end: the cost of a Grexit would have been too great in the future. However he did not anticipate that Europe has a just as powerful counterweapon: locking up Greek deposits indefinitely right now.Greece folded.Which brings us to the final question: What Europe Wants? Here is Connolly’s answer:To use global issues as excuses to extend its power:environmental issues: increase control over member countries; advance idea of global governance terrorism: use excuse for greater control over police and judicial issues; increase extent of surveillance global financial crisis: kill two birds (free market; Anglo-Saxon economies) with one stone (Europe-wide regulator; attempts at global financial governance)EMU: create a crisis to force introduction of “European economic government”

And there it is: in four simple bullet points laid out in a 7 year old presentation, a prediction which is about to be proven right. Because once Greece folds, next will be Italy, Spain, Portugal, and so on, until the European Economic Government, also known as the “European Empire”, controlled by a handful of “northern” European players and the bankers financially backing them, shifts from mere vision to reality.

An historic betrayal has consumed Greece. Having set aside the mandate of the Greek electorate, the Syriza government has willfully ignored last week’s landslide “No” vote and secretly agreed a raft of repressive, impoverishing measures in return for a “bailout” that means sinister foreign control and a warning to the world.Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has pushed through parliament a proposal to cut at least 13 billion euros from the public purse – 4 billion euros more than the “austerity” figure rejected overwhelmingly by the majority of the Greek population in a referendum on 5 July. These reportedly include a 50 per cent increase in the cost of healthcare for pensioners, almost 40 per cent of whom live in poverty; deep cuts in public sector wages; the complete privatization of public facilities such as airports and ports; a rise in value added tax to 23 per cent, now applied to the Greek islands where people struggle to eke out a living. There is more to come.
