“The Postcard” | 2015 Vistaprint Commercial | Exceptional

Terrific ad,  and yes a Kleenex was needed… it is too damn bad that the vast majority of Americans that are truly good human beings do not rule. Narcissistic evil rises to the top in all governments.

We are rapidly approaching the final act, the closing of the curtain on the American Empire and the globally ubiquitous and endemic disease of corruption which has frailly supported the Potemkin Village of  the crony elite’s finance capitalism’s rape of the common man.  I cannot stress enough how deeply nefarious and insidious our empire’s imposed fascist capitalist system has become. 2015 is very likely the year that the financial, economic and geopolitical wheels come off, resulting in chaos, tyranny and war.

From our best qualities come our worst. From our urge to pull together comes our tendency to tear each other apart. From our devotion to a higher good comes our propensity to the foulest atrocities. From our commitment to ideals comes our excuse to hate. Since the beginning of history, we have been blinded by evil’s ability to don a selfless disguise. We have failed to see that our finest qualities often lead us to the actions we most abhor—murder, torture, genocide, and war.

But, there is hope for the future and this emotive commercial invokes a bit of the essence of that hope. It is the getting to the future that I worry about.
